This is how you race :
Obviously you have to own a horse, and your opponent also has to own a horse. Basically somehow, however you want to, you challenge someone to a race. You can challenge someone in the messageboards, or you can just go to the chat room and see if anyone else is there, you can set up a time and place for it - this is for other people to come watch. Mainly you race for yourself, but I guess you can race without betting (for other people to bet on).
Here are some rules :
In order to race, a King always has to be there, or a RDOG (Racing DOG). Depending on your horse, the RDOG will roll a certain amount of dice for each stride of your horse. The first horse to a predetermined and presaid goal wins. It's that easy.
Here's how to bet :
The RDOG, before the race, will give you the odds. Let's say, just an example, that King Toast's horse' odds to win are 1 to 75, and King Jhessail's odd's are 75 to 1. Now you have a choice to bet on one of the horses (the odds normally won't be that large). If you bet on 150 fiv on King Toast, then in all you will win 152 fiv. (Because for every 75 fiv you bet, you'll get 1 fiv in return [1 TO 75]). If you bet 150 fiv on King Jhessail, then you'd gain 11,250 fiv. (Because for every fiv you bet you get 75 in return, if you win obviously [75 to 1]). So It's pretty simple. And as you can see a GREAT way to earn fiv. Extremely great way to earn fiv.
