Upon Worlds
As you brush the dust away from your face you rise and look upon a mysterious city standing alone on the endless horizion. You do not know it now, but you are about to embark on a fabulous adventure... you have entered Sudonia.
Sudonia is city shrouded in mystery and intriuge. It was built by the current kings of Sudiona, ~ King Toast ~ and `King `Jhessail. For what purpose still remains a closely guarded secret. Many rumors have spread, some say the city was built to kill people for undead armies. Others are sure the city was a refuge for the souls of warriors who were slain on acient battlefields. No one as of yet has proven or disproven any of the rumors. Despite the kings' original purpose and the rumors, the city has become shelter for the weary adventureres as yourself. The kings greet with open arms all who wander into their fine city. Adventurers from all corners of the earth seem to find their way into the wilderness and wasteland found outside the city. Most stay in Sudonia after their wounds are healed, for they now call it home.
Not many venture off into the wilderness to the east of the city... or the wastelands to the west, but those who do come back with awesome tales of monsters living in the jungles... entire armies hidden amongst the trees. Or huge sub-terranien creatures that grab foolish adventures from beneath the ground. These claims are often backed up with the half-dead adventurers body crawling into the city. Although there are no known cities or towns in the area of Sudonia, there are suspected to be hundreds of camps, villages, and possibly entire cities of creatures lurking throughout the land.
You know not what has brought you to this city, or what is to become of you. A peculiar smell in the air forshadows a dark future... For some strange reason you feel the need to stay. As you walk to the city's gates you find yourself calling this place... home.
